ABOUT UPPER LIMB EDUCATION
Upper Limb Education provides advanced, evidence-based, professional development for occupational therapists and physiotherapists with a special interest in hand therapy.
We deliver in-person education grounded in applied anatomy, biomechanics, and peer-reviewed research, with a strong emphasis on assessment-driven clinical reasoning. Our courses are designed to support clinicians to translate complex concepts into confident, real-world practice examples.
Upper Limb Education was created in response to the growing demand for high-quality, clinically relevant learning experiences that prioritise depth, clarity, and practical application.

OUR EDUCATION FRAMEWORK
Upper Limb Education’s approach to professional development is guided by three core pillars, ensuring learning is rigorous, practical, and relevant to clinical practice.
1
DESIGN
Our courses use a layered, assessment-for-learning design to build clinical reasoning and support reflection and application.
2
EXPERIENCE
Learning is active, collaborative, and clinically grounded through hands-on, case-based, peer-supported teaching.
3
ACCESS
We remove unnecessary barriers through flexible participation, improved accessibility, and clear, transparent course design.
CLINICIAN-CENTERED
DELIVERY PHILOSOPHY
Upper Limb Education is intentionally designed to respect the realities of clinical practice.
Our workshops are delivered in condensed, high-value formats and hosted across key markets to minimise time away from patients, workplaces, and families. We believe professional development should integrate into clinicians’ lives - not compete with them.
This philosophy underpins how our courses are designed, scheduled, and delivered.

OUR MISSION
Upper Limb Education exists to advance hand therapy education through rigorous, evidence-based professional development.
We deliver accessible, in-person workshops that enable deep clinical exploration grounded in peer-reviewed research, applied anatomy and biomechanics, and assessment-for-learning principles. Our mission is to empower therapists - wherever they practice - to feel confident, capable, and equipped to deliver exceptional upper limb care.
